My motto (seriously) is: Better Late Than Never! That being said, here is my waaay over due post about the kids birthday party!! In November 2011 we went to the Veteran's Day Parade (our favorite Tallahassee parade by far!), Connor was in awe of "the man on stilts." His interest continued as he went to a couple other parades and then the circus. Around that time Layla became obsessed with a big, soft, fuzzy elephant that we've had since Connor was a baby. She carried that elephant everywhere and even got 2 little baby elephants to go along with Mama elephant. And there it was, their birthday party theme was born...The CIRCUS!! We tried desperately to get "the man on stilts" but he was very busy with the FSU Circus, so we went with a face painting clown instead....just as big of a hit! Our friend, Malcolm Hosford did some amazing art work for the party (second year in a row we've been so fortunate), had a few games (that didn’t work out quite as I had planned...oh well:) and classic circus/carnival food! The kids had a blast, and it was a beautiful day...what more could we ask for!?! My Aunt Jan, Aunt Chrissy and friend, Jessica took so many amazing pics it's going to be hard to narrow them down. There are lots! Enjoy!!
First up.....my beautiful birthday girl and boy!!
