Week O' Fun!

Lulu’s daycare was closed for a week at the end of July. We all (grandparents included) took turns spending the day with the little ones. The week was packed! Papa Sherman took Monday and Nana Kat had Wednesday, these days were spent with lots of indoor and outdoor playtime. Charlie and I had the other days. For one of my days I took the kids to Lake Hall at Maclay Garden's. I had help from Daddy on the front end, lugging all our stuff and the kids down to the lake and had help from my Mom on the backend. But, for the most part, I was there by myself. This was the first time I have ever done anything like that by myself...and it was a success!! I was so proud of Connor and Layla AND of me! Because I was there by myself there was no time for snapping pics. Daddy however got lots of pics on his day of fun. I must say I was very proud of him too. He loaded the kids up and they had fun morning and lunch at the Tallahassee Museum (or Jr. Museum to those of us who grew up in Tally). Daddy said ALL the animals were out and in full view and at every animal Connor and Layla would both say "sooo coool" and "awwwsome". Love them! Here are the adorable pics from his phone.

Connor and I ended the week with a trip to Ollie Wallie with cousin Brandon. Again, no pics but lots of fun was had! We had such a fun week with the babies, but boy were we glad to see Lulu come Monday! :)

Summertiiime and the Livin' (was) Easy!

Although, in our house summer is really not over! There is still plenty of pool and beach time left. But beacuse I have not documented any of it so far....here is a picture re-cap of our time spent at pools, beaches and in our backyard with lots of family and friends! Looking forward to squeezing the final goodness out of the hot days over the next few weeks.

Our first trip months ago to kick off summer, Shell Point to hear Low Flying Planes.
Liam and Connor taking it all in. There was a regatta going on, which meant LOTS of sailboats.

A little backyard fun in the sun!

Sometimes you gotta get your clothes wet!

Pool time!

And best of all...BEACH time!

Where'd it go, Papa??

Out there?

Guess it's all gone, Mommy!

Chillin'!

Ahhh, now this is relaxation.

Daddy taught them this trick so they wouldnt kick each other...smart Daddy!

And what could be more summertime than yummy watermelon! Hope you all had a wonderful summer!
